SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE
General
Regular periodic maintenance on your Model
H3118 will ensure its optimum performance.
Make a habit of inspecting your machine each
time you use it.
Before each use, perform the following
checks:
• Look for conditions allowing prolonged expo-
sure of the motor and electrical components to
water.
• Tighten loose fasteners and hardware.
• Replace worn switches, DO NOT repair.
• Replace worn or damaged cords and plugs,
DO NOT repair.
• Inspect and replace saw blade if damaged.
• Ensure correct blade guard alignment and
operation.
• Correct any other condition that could hamper
the safe operation of this machine.
Loose hair and clothing
could get caught in
machinery causing seri-
ous personal injury.
Keep loose clothing
rolled up and long hair
tied up and away from
machinery.
Projectiles thrown from
the machine could cause
serious eye injury. Wear
safety glasses during
assembly.
Serious personal injury
could occur if you con-
nect your machine to the
power source during the
maintenance process.
DO NOT connect the
machine to the power
source while performing
any maintenance on the
Model H3118.
