6-2. Optional Auxiliary Power Receptacles
Y If unit does not have GFCI re-
ceptacles, use GFCI-
protected extension cord.
. Auxiliary power decreases as
weld current increases.
Combined output of all receptacles
limited to 8 kVA/kW rating of the
generator.
GFCI Receptacle Option
1 120 V 15 A AC GFCI Recep-
tacles GFCI2 and GFCI3
GFCI2 and GFCI3 supply 60 Hz
single-phase power at weld/power
speed. Maximum output from
GFCI2 or GFCI3 is 2.4 kVA/kW. Cir-
cuit breaker protection is the same
as standard receptacles.
If a ground fault is detected, the
GFCI Reset button pops out and
the circuit opens to disconnect the
faulty equipment. Check for
damaged tools, cords, plugs, etc.
connected to the receptacle. Press
button to reset receptacle and
resume operation.
. At least once a month, run
engine at weld/power speed
and press Test button to verify
GFCI is working properly.
