corresponding D5XH’s ZONE OUT ports using Cat-5. See Figure 3-15 for details.

Stand-Alone (No D5RH) 4 Source, 6 Zone System
Figure 3-16 shows a D5XH stand-alone system with four sources and six zones with the addition of a
local source in Zone 6. Each zone can have one local source. The system is comprised of a D5XH,
D5KP Amplified Keypads Controllers, D5IP Source Input Wall Plates and Xantech XTC Series
Speakers. This configuration provides audio from each source into each zone as well as control of
each source from each zone. Zones with Local Sources have access to and control of those sources,
but the Local Sources are not available to other zones within the system. This system can be
expanded up to 24 zones using additional D5XHs.
