Installing the Inverter/Charger
3. Press the INVERTER ENABLE button. Verify that the
INVERTER ENABLED LED status light illuminates.
4. Connect the Freedom SW 230V to the test load by closing the
AC breaker that controls the circuit that the test load is
connected to.
If the light bulb illuminates, the Invert mode is working.
5. Press the Inverter Enable button to disable the inverter.
The INVERTER ENABLED LED status light is off.
Testing in Charge Mode and AC Bypass Mode
1. Close the AC supply breaker to supply AC power to the unit.
To verify that the Freedom SW 230V starts charging:
2. After a few seconds, verify that the AC/Charge light on the
front panel is turned on (indicating that the batteries are being
charged).
To verify that Freedom SW 230V correctly switches to Bypass
mode:
3. Disable the AC source and turn off the inverter by pressing the
Inverter Enable button.
4. Connect the test load to the AC output connection of the unit.
5. Enable the AC source and the test load should turn on after ten
seconds.
Installation Complete
Your installation is now complete. The Freedom SW 230V Inverter/
Charger is ready for use.
The preceding tests use a light test load (a light bulb) as a test case.

example, a hair dryer or microwave), see the troubleshooting
