To open the Device Setup Page, from any page go to
MENU > Device Setup. If you have added the Device
Setup Page to the PAGE button sequence, it is no longer
available on menus. Press the PAGE button until it appears.
Use the Device Setup Page options to modify the default
settings on the PN-Series GPS. You can also view and
manage internal and SD card memory use and restore
the device’s default system settings.
System
Use the System options to modify GPS/WAAS settings,
select the battery type, enable/disable USB power, and
view and manage memory information.
To change system settings
From any page, go to MENU > Device Setup > System
Use the drop-down lists to select system settings.
GPS Settings
» Normal–Normal GPS use.
» Power Saving–Turns off backlight after 15 seconds
and reduces processor speeds.
» Disable GPS–Turns off GPS satellite tracking.

» Demo Mode–Enables Demo Mode. See To view
or hide Demo Mode on page 3.
Stealth Mode–Select this check box to set sounds
to Mute All and backlight to Always Off.
WAAS–Select Enabled or Disabled. See GPS and
WAAS Status on page 10.
Battery Type–Select Alkaline, Lithium, NiMH, or
Li-ion (Rechargeable)—use only DeLorme Li-ion
batteries. See Installing the Batteries and SD Card
on page 2.
USB Power–Select Enabled or Disabled to
determine if the device can receive power from
a computer USB port.
To view memory use
You can view how much space is available on the device's
internal memory or an SD card in the device.
From any page, go to MENU > Device Setup >
System > Memory Use.
