CHANGING THE SAW BLADE
Refer to Figures10, 11 and 13, pages 20, 22 and 26.
WARNING: Turnthe powerswitch"OFF" and unplugthe
powercordfrom its powersourcewhen changingthe saw
blade.
WARNING: When replacing blades, checkthethickness
stamped onto the rivingknife."Youmustselecta blade witha
keff widthlargerthan thethicknessofthe rivingknife. Thinner
blades may causethe workpieceto bind duringcutting.
WARNING: USE ONLY 10" diameterbladeswith%" arbor
holes,ratedat or higher than3800 R.RM.
= Remove thetable insert(Fig. 11,Key No.41).
° Raisesaw blade to maximumheight.
Open end wrenchissuppliedwiththe saw (Fig.10, Key
No.21). Place open-endwrenchonthe flat of the arbor
(Fig. 13, No. 33). Depress lockpin(Fig. 13, KeyNo.26)
andturncounterclockwiseto loosennut.Removenut,
flange and blade (Fig.13, KeyNos.59, 60 and 61).
° Place new blade on arbor.Make sureblade teeth points
downat the frontside ofblade.Placeflange and nut on
arbor and securely snug blade in position.
Replace table insert.
