Replacing the air and fluid
packings
Tools needed:
• Gun Tool - provided
• Packing Installation Tool - provided
• Adjustable Wrench
• Screw Driver
• Lubricant part no. 111265; see Accessories, page
28, to order
• Compatible Solvent
Disassembling the gun
1. Relieve the pressure, page 13.
2. Flush the spray gun, page 9.
3. Remove the air cap retaining ring (15A), seal (15B),
and air cap (14).
4. Trigger the gun while you remove the fluid nozzle
(12) with the gun tool (28). See F
IG. 24.
5. Remove the screw (11), pin (17), wave washer (18),
and trigger (10).
• Order Repair Kit 234828. See Parts starting on
page 25.
• Clean parts with a solvent that is compatible
with the parts and the fluid being sprayed.
• Lightly lubricate the parts indicated with lubri-
cant 111265.
WARNING
Follow Pressure Relief Procedure, page 13 when
you stop spraying and before cleaning, checking, ser-
vicing, or transporting equipment. Read warnings,
