This section will cover the basic assembly and
adjustment instructions needed to begin opera-
tion. Complete the assembly in the order provid-
ed in this manual and then read the remaining
portion of the manual before attempting any type
of operation.
Your safety is important! Please follow the
warnings below during this entire section:
To mount the sander to a workbench:
1. Screw

⁄4" x 1
1
⁄2" (or longer) lag bolts with
1
⁄4"
washers through the holes in the base and
into the workbench.
To attach the sander to a mounting board:
1. Mount the base of the sander to the center of
a piece of
3
⁄4" plywood that is at least 18"W x
24"D.
2. Clamp the plywood securely to a workbench.
To install the disc guard:
1. Align the disc guard with the holes on the
lower half of the disc.
2. Use the M4 x 8 self tapping screws to attach
the disc guard to the sander base as shown
in Figure 4.
