Chapter 1: Introduction
The MX7 is a rugged, portable, hand-held computer with a Microsoft® Windows® CE 5 operating system. There are three
optional cradles available for the MX7:
l A desktop cradle that secures the MX7, recharges batteries and enables communications between the MX7 and
another device.
l A passive vehicle-mount cradle that secures the MX7and isolates it from shock and vibration.
l A powered vehicle-mount cradle that secures the MX7, isolates it from shock and vibration and recharges the battery.
