Calibrating the Meter
Caution
Devices with malfunctioning lasers must be returned to the manufacturer for
calibration.
Annual calibration of the meter by JDS Uniphase is recommended. This section outlines how
to do periodic adjustments to ensure the accuracy of backreflection, loss, and power
measurements. Use only the calibrated jumper for all calibration procedures.
