OUTPUT PROBLEMS
Machine often noodle welds (out-
put is limited to approximately 100
amps) when running a particular
procedure
Auxiliary receptacle is dead”— no
auxiliary voltage .
The Power Wave is triggered to
weld, but there is no output.
1. Secondary current limit has
been exceeded, and the
machine has phased back to
protect itself. Adjust procedure
or reduce load to lower cur-
rent draw from the machine.
1. Circuit breaker CB2 (on case
front) may have opened.
Reset.
2. Circuit breaker CB4 (in recon-
nect area) may have opened.
Reset.
1. Check for fault signals from
the I/O connector. Possible
faults are lack of water flow
2. Circuit breaker CB4 (in recon-
nect area) may have opened.
Reset.
If all recommended possible areas
of misadjustments have been
checked and the problem persists,
contact your local Lincoln
Authorized Field Service Facility.
