Your ddi]starts and stopsby depressingand releasingthe
switchtrigger.Release the switchbigger to turn ddllOFF.
VARIABLE SPEED
See Figure5.
Your ddll has a variable speed feature in the switch. The
switch delivem higher speed and torque with increased
tdgger pressure. Speed is controlled by the amount of
switchtrigger depression.
SWITCH LOCK

The switchtriggercan be lockedIn the OFF position.This
feature helps reducethe possibilityof accidental starting
when notInuse.Tolockthe switchtrigger,placethe direct'on
of rotationselector in the center position.
REVERSIBLE

This tool is reversible.The directionof rotationis controlled
by a selector located abovethe switchtdgger. With the drill
held in normal operating position,the directionof rotation
selector should be positioned to the left of the switchfor
drilling.The ddflingdirectionisreversedwhen the selector is
to the right of the switch.When the selector Is In center
position, the switchtrigger is locked.
CAUTION: Toprevent gear damage,alwaysallowchuck
to come to a completestopbefore changing the directionof
rotat|on.

the chuck body with your other hand. The arrows on the
