• Lockthe swiLchtriggerbyplscingthe directionofretation
selector incenter position.See Figure 5.
• Insert a 5/15 inchor larger hex kay Into the chuck of
your ddttand [_ghtenthe chuckjews sscumly.
• Tap the hax key sharply with a mallet in a clockwise
direction.See Figure 12. This will loosenthe screw In
the chuck for easy removal.
• Open chuck jaws end remove hex key, Remove the
chuckscrew by turningit In a ctuck_se direcffon.

Note: The screw has left hand threads.
• Inserthex key Inchuckend tightenchuck_ws securely.
"Tapsharp!,ywithe ma]_,a_ine counterclock_sedirection.
This will loosen chuck on the spindle, tt can now be
unscrewed by hand. See Figure14.

TO RETIGHTEN A LOOSE CHUCK
The chuck may become iocse on spindle and develop a
wobble. Periodicallycheck the chuck screw for tightneSs.
Totighten,followthese steps:
• Lockthe switchtriggerby piecing the direct_n ofrotation
selectorIncenter position. See Figure 5.
• Open the chuckjaws.
• insert hex key into chuck and tighten chuck jaws
securety.Taphex keysherptywitha mallet ina clockwise
direction,This will_ighten chuckon the spindle.
[] Open the chuckJawsand remove hax key.
• "Tightenthe chuckscrew.
Note: The chuck screw has left hand threads.
