Yournewrouterhasadvancedelectronicfeatures whicharedesignedtoassistyou Ingettingthe maximumusefrom your
router.Bymakingproperspeedselections,yourroutercanbeadjustedtoyourspecfic routingneeds. Thiseliminatesmuch
oftheguessworkpreviouslyneededto performa givenjob. Boththeexperiencedand inexperiencedrouterusersbenefit,
obtainingprofessionallikeresultswithfewer joberrors.
The electronicfeatureof yourrouterintroducesthe flexibility of adjustingthe motorspeed tothe requiredjob conditions.
Speedcanbesetaccordingtotheapproximatecutterdiameteryouwillbeusingand tothehardnessofthematedalbeing
cut. Also,thebestcutsaremadewhenthe cutterisfed through thematerialatthe properrate. Whenpossible,you should
makepracticecutson a scrap pieceofwoodto geta "feel"of howfast to"feed=yourrouter.

"LOCK-ON" BUTTON
The switchofyourrouteris equippedwitha "lock-on"featurewhichisconvenientwhenoperatingforextendedperiodsof
time. To lockon,depressthe trigger,pushinthe lockbuttonlocatedon thesideofthe handle,thenwhileholdingthelock
buttonpushedin,releasethetrigger.To releasethe lock,depressthetriggerand releaseit. See Figure1.
VARIABLE SPEED
Yourrouterhasa variablespeedcontrolselectordesignedtoallowoperatorcontrolofspeed andtorquelimits. See Figure
1. Toincreasethespeedandtorqueofyourrouter,turnthevariablespeedcontrolselectortoa highersetting.Turntoa lower
settingtodecreasespeedandtorque.NOTE: Ifyoudonotwanttousethevariablespeedcontrolselector,turntothehighest
possiblesetting,andthe featurewillnotbeactive.
