PRACTICE BEFORE ACTUAL USE

ROUTERTO POWER SUPPLY:
1. Makesure powersupply le 120 volts, 60 Hz, AC only.
2. Makesurethespindlelookisin the unlockedposition.
3. Makesurethetriggerisnot inthe"lock-on"position.
4. Makesurethereis nota cutterinthecollet,
5. Makesurethecolletdoesnotextendbelowthesubbase.
6. Choosethedesiredspeedfromthespeedselectionchart.

When usingyour router holdit firmlywith bothhandsas
showninfigure8. Turnmuteronandletmotorbuildtoitsfull
speed,then graduallyfeed cutterintoworkpiece.Remain
alertandwatchwhatyouaredoing. DONOT operaterouter
whenfatigued.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Yourrouterhasa precisionbuiltelectricmotor. Itshouldbe
connectedto a power supply that is 120 volt=, 60 Hz, AC
only(normal household current). Donotoperatethistool
on directcurrent(DC). A voltagedrop of more than 10
percentwillcausea lossofpowerand overheating.Ifyour
tooldoesnotoperatewhen pluggedintoan outlet,double-
checkthe power supply.
