Troubleshooting -
Clean the Spray
Gun Filter
Start
You will need:
Wrench
Warm, soapy water for latex material
Mineral spirits for oil based materials
Replacement spray gun lter (if necessary)
IMPORTANT: Never clean the filter by
poking it with a sharp object.
1. Peform the Pressure
Relief Procedure, page 7.
5. Inspect the lter for
damage. Replace if any
holes or tears are found.
4. Remove the lter from the
housing. Clean with appropriate
cleaning solution (warm, soapy
water for latex materials; mineral
spirits for oil-based materials).
2. Pull trigger guard
from lter housing.
6. Replace cleaned lter, tapered
end rst, into the gun housing.
Note: It is important to place
tapered end rst to ensure proper
sprayer operation.
3. Tighten the wrench over the
wrench ats (a). Unscrew the
lter housing using a wrench.
Note: You DO NOT need to
remove the spray hose from the gun
to clean the lter.
7. Reassemble the spray gun.
