Lubrication
Since all bearings are sealed and
permanently lubricated, simply leave them
alone until they need to be replaced. Do
not lubricate them.
Empty the collection drum when it is no more than

full. If the drum is overfilled, dust will be sucked into the
inlet cylinder and pass through to the filter.
How quickly the drum will fill up is based on the type of
work being done at that time.
A machine that produces fine dust, such as a sander or
table saw, will slowly fill the drum.
A machine that produces curly shavings, such as a planer
or jointer, will quickly fill the drum.
In the beginning, check your drum regularly to get an idea
of how often it needs to be emptied.
Emptying Drum
Regular maintenance on your machine will ensure its
optimum performance. Make a habit of inspecting your
machine each time you use it.
Check for the following conditions and repair or
replace when necessary:
Loose mounting bolts.
Worn switch.
Worn or damaged cords and plugs.
Any other condition that could hamper the safe
operation of this machine.
General
