Setting the General preferences
Turning the vibrate alarm and LED alarm on or off
You can set the CLIÉ handheld to vibrate or flash its LED at the set time. If
you turn the Alarm Sound off and turn on the Alarm Vibrate or Alarm LED,
you can make use of the CLIÉ handheld’s alarm feature without disturbing
other people around you.

Tap General from the drop-down list on the Preferences
screen.
The General Preferences screen is displayed.

Tap the arrow V next to Alarm Vibrate, then select On or Off
from the drop-down list.
• On: Enables the Alarm Vibrate feature
• Off: Disables the Alarm Vibrate feature

Tap the arrow V next to Alarm LED and select On or Off from
the drop-down list.
• On: Enables the Alarm LED feature
• Off: Disables the Alarm LED feature
