Safety instructions
The plastic parts of the spray gun are charged electrostatically by the high-voltage field
of the spray pistol. Harmless discharges (brush discharges) are possible after contact with
plastic parts. They are completely harmless for people.
The corona discharge at the electrode end is visible during darkness at a distance of be
between 4 and 10 mm; 0.15 and 0.4 inches, between the spray gun and spray object.

The electrostatic hand spray gun GM 5000EAC is suitable for spraying liquid materials,
particularly coating materials, using the AirCoat method. Coating materials containing
solvents of Explosion Class II A may be used. The spray gun may only be used in
combination with the control unit VM 500 and VM 5000.
As defi ned in the Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX), the unit is suitable for use in areas where there
is an explosion hazard.
