To connect the filer to a single-attachment FDDI network, use a single-attached
FDDI-TP or fiber card to push the cable connector into the cards connector until it
clicks and locks into place. You can connect to an FDDI single-attachment station or
concentrator. Figure 2 shows a duplex FDDI fiber optic cable connecting to a single-
attached FDDI fiber card.

You can also use a dual-attached FDDI fiber card with a single-attachment FDDI net-
work. Push the cable connector into the cards top connector (port B) until it clicks and
locks into place. Leave the cards bottom connector unused.
