Troubleshooting

HeaterHeater
Heater
Check the continuity of the heater to verify proper
resistance. If there is no continuity, the heater has
failed and needs to be replaced.
1. Disable applicator. See
Before Beginning Repair, page 20.
2. Check resistance of the heater using a
multi-meter between the pins of the cordset
connector. See connectors illustrations in cordset
pin tables.
3. Replace the heater cartridge if the
resistance reading is outside the
range or if there is no continuity. See
Replace Heater Cartridge, page 20.
