3. Check tightenness of retaining nut on pulley, and
tighten if necessary.

Using a non-alcohol based cleaner, clean the
tapered surface of the chuck and spindle to remove
all dirt, grease and oil. See Section "ASSEMBLY -
INSTALLING THE CHUCK".
Replace with new AAA batteries.
Tap outside the bottom and side of the laser housing
lightly with the but end of a screwdriver.
