The Drive V-Belt (97) is tensioned f.

(255) against the V-belt, increasing
pressure until the V-belt is of proper
tension.
These V-Belts are subject to stretch-g.
ing and loosening, so they must
be checked on a regular basis and
tensioned whenever necessary.
