Feed Belt Replacement
Disconnect the Drum Sander.1.

Conveyor Table Adjustments

gauge blocks at either side of the
Feed Belt (165).

ing two 2" x 4"s and jointing one side
of each until the sides are absolutely

the un-jointed edge. Repeat for the
other block.
This gives two gauge blocks that are c.
exact in height.
With the gauge blocks in place, the 3.
distance from each end of the sand-
ing Drum (178) to the Conveyor Table
(137) should be the same. Adjust one
side or the other until the distances
are perfectly equal.
Raise the Conveyor Table until the 4.
gauge blocks just touch the Drum
(178).
Check rear of the Pressure Plate a.
(84) adjustment:
Use feeler gauges.
If the gap is more than 0.004” the 
rear of the Pressure Plate (84) must
be adjusted.
Check front of the Pressure Plate b.
adjustment:
Use feeler gauges.
If the gap is more than 0.004", the 
front of the Pressure Plate (84)
must be adjusted.
