Configuring Rank Change Parameters
Use
Use this screen to configure the parameters specific to the Rank Change template. See Rank
Change (OLAP) [Page
84] for the description, business question, and workflow for using this
template.
Procedure
...
1. In the Calculate Change in section of the screen, select the type of rank and its value in
the Rank Type and Value fields. You may select from the following rank types:

{ Bottom Count
{ Top Percent
{ Bottom Percent
If you select a count rank type, the values in the Value field are numeric. If you select a
percent rank type, the values in the Value field correspond to percentages.
For example, if you select Top Count and a value of 5, you want to calculate the
change in rank of your top three members between one period and another. If
you select Top Percent and a value of 10, you want to calculate the change in
rank of your top 10% of members between one period and another.
2. In the For Members of section of the screen, select the level that contains the members
you want to see in the query’s result using the parameters in the table below:

Lists all levels in the currently
selected hierarchy.
Select the level that contains
the members you want to
see in the query’s result.
3. In the Between Base and Comparison Periods section of the screen, configure the
base and comparison periods for the rank change according to the parameters in the
table below:
