Daily Care and Cleaning
CAUTION
• Clean all parts with a non-conductive, compatible
solvent. Conductive solvents can cause the gun to
malfunction.
• Do not use methylene chloride as a flushing or
cleaning solvent with this gun as it will damage
nylon components.
• Fluid in the air passages could cause the gun to
malfunction and could draw current and reduce the
electrostatic effect. Fluid in the power supply cavity
can reduce the alternator life. Whenever possible,
point the gun down when cleaning it. Do not use
any cleaning method which could allow fluid into
the gun air passages.
Do not immerse the gun in fluid.
Do not point the gun up while cleaning it. Do not wipe the gun with a cloth that is heavily
saturated; wring out the excess fluid.
