2.3.7.5 Exclude Node Names from Filespecs
SEA does not accept OpenVMS node names when included as part of a filespec (such as when
specifying an input or output file name). For example, filespecs similar to those shown below
would not work because the node name is included:
NODE1"password"::USERDISK:[USERNAME]MYFILE.TXT
NODE1::USERDISK:[USERNAME]MYFILE.TXT (when no authentication is needed)
NODE2::SYS$ERRORLOG:ERRLOG.SYS
2.3.7.6 CAAgent Processes Created But Not Disappearing
If you are monitoring system processes, you may encounter a situation where CAAgent
processes are accumulating and never going away. This is a known issue where each time you
start and stop the Director, another CAAgent process will accumulate.
To work around this issue, stop the Director, and then run the wccproxy stop command, which
will kill any leftover CAAgent processes.
