OPERATION
Control Panel
Use Figures 17–18 and the following
descriptions to understand the functions of the
mill main power switch and the control panel.
Main Power Switch:
When turned ON, enables
power to flow to the control panel.

Main Power Switch
ON Button: When pressed, illuminates and
enables power to flow to the mill's electrical
components.
Coolant Switch:
Turns coolant pump ON and
OFF.
Spindle Direction Switch:
Starts, stops, and
reverses spindle rotation.
Spindle Speed Dial:
Controls the spindle speed.
Spindle Speed Display:
Shows the current
spindle speed in revolutions per minute (RPM).
Emergency STOP Button:
When pressed,
disables the flow of power to the mill's electrical
components. Before resuming operation, this
button must be reset by twisting it clockwise
until it pops out.
