Creating a JDBC Pool
Summary: Perform these steps to create a new JDBC connection pool.
To create a JDBC pool:
Step 1
Right-click the WebLogic admin server icon.
Step 2 Choose JDBC => Create JDBC Pool.
The Create New JDBC Pool dialog box is displayed. This screen varies
depending on which version of BEA WebLogic Server you are
monitoring. Figure 7-1 shows the fields that display in WebLogic 5.1
environments while Figure 7-2 shows the fields displayed in WebLogic
6.x and 7.0 environments.
Step 3 Specify a name for the new JDBC pool and other configuration
information as described in Table 7-3 or Table 7-4.
Step 4 Click Accept.
