Set Debug Status for Java Collector
Summary: Perform these steps to turn debugging on or off for the PATROL Java
collector.
When turning debugging on, you can set the level of detail you want, and
you can choose whether to save the information to a file or display it on
screen. You can also use this dialog to get debugging information for
setup.
To set the debug status:
Step 1
Start a text editor (such as WordPad or vi).
Step 2 Open the file PatrolWls.properties, which is in directory
$PATROL_HOME/BEAWLSKM/java_collector/<version>/
where version represents a subdirectory for a specific WebLogic version
(v51, v60, v61, v70, or v81).
Step 3 Change the line for wlDebug to either “true” to enable debug collection,
or “false” to disable debug collection.
Step 4 Restart the PATROL Java collector. From the administrative server icon,
choose
KM Administration => Restart Java Collector from the KM
Commands menu.
