Operation setting at fault occurrence
4.12 Operation setting at fault occurrence
4.12.1 Retry function (Pr. 65, Pr. 67 to Pr. 69)
Retry operation automatically resets a fault and restarts
the drive unit at the starting speed when the time set in Pr.
68 elapses after the drive unit is tripped.
Retry operation is performed by setting Pr. 67 to any value
other than "0". Set the number of retries at fault
occurrence in Pr. 67.
When retries fail consecutively equal to or more than the
number of times set in Pr. 67, a retry count excess fault
(E.RET) occurs, resulting in trip of the drive unit. (Refer to
retry failure example)
Use Pr. 68 to set the waiting time from when the drive unit
trips until a retry is made in the range of 0.1 to 600s.
Reading the Pr. 69 value provides the cumulative number
of successful restart times made by retry.
The cumulative count in Pr. 69 is increased by 1 when a
retry is regarded as successful after normal operation
continues without faults occurring for more than four times
longer than the time (3.1s at shortest) set in Pr. 68 after a
retry start.
(When retry is successful, cumulative number of retry
failure is cleared.)
Writing "0" to Pr. 69 clears the cumulative count.
During a retry, the Y64 signal is ON. For the Y64 signal,
assign the function by setting "64 (positive operation)" or
"164 (negative operation)" to Pr. 190 or Pr. 192 (output
terminal function selection) .

101 to 110
Set the number of retries at fault occurrence. (The
setting value of minus 100 is the number of retries.)
A fault output is provided during retry operation.

Set the waiting time from when an drive unit fault occurs
until a retry is made.
69 Retry count display erase
0 0 Clear the number of restarts succeeded by retry.
The above parameters can be set when Pr. 160 Extended function display selection = "0". (Refer to page 144)
