Your saw has externally accessiblebrushassemblies
that shouldbe pehodicallycheckedforwear.
Proceed as follows when replacement Is required:
Unplugyour saw.
_kWARNING: Failureto unplugyour saw could
resultin accidentalstartingcausingsadous
injury.
Remove brushcap with a screwdriver.Brush
assembly is spdngloaded and willpop outwhen
you remove brushcap.
Remove brushassembly.
Check for wear. Replace both brusheswhen
eitherhas less than 1/4 in.lengthof carbon
remaining.Do not replaceone side without
replacingthe other.
Reassemble usingnew brushassemblies.Make
sure curvatureof brush matchescurvatureof
motorand that brushmovesfreelyin brushtube.
Make surebrushcap is odented correctly ,
(straight)and replace.
Tighten brushcap securely. Do not overtighten.
