Clean terminals.
Replace the process unit or charger wire.
Adjust output from HVPS, or replace defec-
tive HVPS.
Replace the process unit, laser scanner unit,
HVPS, or main PWA.
Check items
Process unit securely installed?
Charger wire terminals/grid termi-
nals (process unit) and corre-
sponding terminals (main body)
stained?
Is there any disconnection in the
charger wire?
High-voltage output defective?
If problem persists after measures
are applied, or there is no prob-
lem found in above check, follow
procedure described in right col-
umn.
