Power On Self Test Message / IQC Messages
Message Cause Action
No Available Ports. IQC Failed
To Start.
Ports are disabled. All ports are disabled. Switch
the CM off and switch back on.
If problem persists contact
Technical Support to report the
problem.
Test Run Messages
To display the error message, before removing the cartridge, touch the red port icon for
detailed information about the failure. Once the cartridge is removed, this information is sent to
the appropriate Log files. Refer to Viewing Saved Logs for additional information.

Cartridge Error Possible defect in Test Cartridge.

High Background Possible interfering substances
in the sample causing high
running background.
LOW
Low Signal Insufficient sample transferred to
the Test Cartridge.
Insufficient mixing of the sample
with the supplied assay tip.
Interfering substances in the
sample.
Fail
Sample Error 1 Sample flow occurred before the
Test Cartridge was inserted into
the port.
Delay of more than 30 seconds
between sample addition and
Test Cartridge insertion.
Insertion of a used Test
Cartridge.
The Test Cartridge is
ejected.
Remove and dispose of
appropriately.
Repeat the assay with a
fresh set of components.
If problem persists
contact Technical
Support to report the
problem.
