Use themiter gaugewhen making cross, miter,bevel,
and compoundmiter cuts.To securethe angle, lock the
miter gaugein place by twisting the lockknobclockwise.
Always tightenthe lock knobsecurelyin pJaoebeforeuse.
NOTE=It isrecommendedthat you place the pieceto be
saved on theleftside of the bladeand thatyoumake a
test cut on scrapwood first.

• Removethe ripfence by liftingthelockinghandle.
• Set the blade to the correctdepth for theworkpiece.

• Placea support(thesame height as saw table)behind
the saw for the cut work.
• Make sure thewood isclear ofthe blade beforeturning
onthe saw.
• To turn thesaw ON, liftthe switchbutton.
• Toturnsaw OFF, presstheswitch buttondown.

• Letthe bladebuildup to fullspeed before movingthe

• Holdthe workpiecafirmlywith bothhandson the miter
gaugeand feed theworkpieceintothe blade.
