Adjust density.
Clean main charger wire, replace process unit
or charger wire.
Check mechanism.
If problem persists, replace process unit or
drum.
Note: Never touch drum surface.
Adjust output from HVPS, or replace defec-
tive HVPS.
Replace process unit.
Check items
Image density reproduction de-
fect?
Main charger dirty?
Magnetic roller pressure mecha-
nism working normally?
Film formed on drum surface?
High-voltage output defective?
If problem persists after measures
are applied, or there is no prob-
lem found in above check, follow
procedure described in right col-
umn.
Feeding direction
