If you choose Static IP as your connection type:

DNS Server:
Enter the IP address the DIR-505 should use. The default IP
address is 192.168.0.1. If you change the IP address, once
you click Apply, you will need to enter the new IP address
in your browser to get back into the conguration utility.
Enter the Subnet Mask assigned by your ISP.
Enter the Gateway assigned by your ISP.
Enter the Primary DNS Server’s IP address assigned by your
ISP.
Enter the Secondary DNS Server’s IP address assigned by
your ISP.
