Make a test cut on scrap wood. From thefrontof the
caw. pushthe wood to the blade with the miter gage.
_1, WARNING: Make sure the blade guardis
loweredover blade and isworkingpropedyto
preventpossible injury.
• Check thatthe blade is at thecorrect heightfor the
workpiece.To change theheighL turnthe height
handwheel.
• To set the wood angle, loosenthe mitergage knob,
set theangle withthe indicatoron the mitergage,
then retightenmitergage knob.
• Place a supportthe same heightas the top of the
saw table behindthe saw for the cut work.
• Make surethe woodis nottouchingthe blade
beforeturningon the saw.'Insertthe key and lift
the switchto the ON position.Letthe bladebuild
upto fullspeed before movingthe mitergage to
feed the workpieceintothe blade.
• Ho_dthework firmly against the miter gage aod
pushthe miter gage to feed the work intothe blade.
• When the workis completed,pressthe switchoff
and remove the key,

Try outthis cuton a piece ofscrap wood before
cuttingyourworkpiece.

• Raisethe rip fence handleand remove the rip
fence.
• Set the blade angle by loosening the bevel lock
handle and turningthe bevel handwheel. Retighten
the bevel lockhandle.
• Set mitergage to 0" if needed. Make sure miter
gage knobis securelytightened.
• Place a supportthe same heightas thetop of the
saw table behindthe saw for the cutwork.
• Make sure thewood is clear of the blade before
turningonthe saw. Insert the key and liftthe switch
to the ON position.Let the blade buildup tofull
speed beforefeeding the wood into theblade with
the mitergage.
• Holdthe workfirmlyagainst the miter gage and
pushthe mitergage to feed the work intothe blade.
• When thework is completed, press theswitchoff
and removethe key.
