MAKING A DADO CUT

An optionaldado throatplate is requiredfor this
procedure.See the Accessoriessectionof this
manual and check withyour nearest Sears Retail
Store. Allblades and dado sets mustbe ratedat least
5,000 RPM,
_L WARNING: Unplugthe saw before working
around the blade. Accidentalstartingcould
cause serious injury.
• Take outthe throatplate by looseningthe screw.
• Removethe rivingknife and guardassembly,
• Remove the blade.
• Mountthe dado blade accordingto the instructions
providedwith it.
• Test the blade nutand blade washertightness.
• Installoptionaldado thmat'plate.
• Plugin thesaw and follow dado instructions.
Always use pushstickswith dadocuts.
• When the workiscompleted,presstheswitchoff
and remove the key.
• Unplugthe saw and reinstallthe dvingknifeand
bladeguard.
• Reversethe firstsixstepsabove.
