Try out thiscut on a piece of scrap wood before
cuttingyour workpiece.Use a pushstickto movesmall
pieces of woodinto and past the blade.
_, WARNING: Make sure the blade guard is
loweredover blade and isworking propedyto
preventpossibleinjury.
• Set the bladeangle by loosening the bevel lock
handle and turningthe bevel handwheel. Retighten
the bevel lock handle.
,_k WARNING: When making a bevel ripcut, the
dp fence mustbe on the rightside of the blade.
Otherwisethe fence could trap the workpiece,
possiblycausing kickbackand resultingin injury.
• Attachthe dp fence on the'dghtside of the blade at
the correctdistancefrom the blade forthe cut.
• Placea supportthe same heightas the top of the
saw table behindthe saw for the cutwork.
_1= WARNING: Never stand directly in the line of
cut. Stand to the side to reduce the chance of
injury should kickback occur.
• Make surethe woodis clear ofthe blade before
turningon the saw. Insert the key and liftthe switch
to the ON position.Letthe blade obtainfull speed
beforefeeding theworkpiece intothe blade.
