ADIC
Supported ADIC storage devices include both network-attached
and SCSI-attached libraries.
Network-attached
The following table lists supported network-attached models for
tape and optical media:
Load Tape
For instruction on preparing media for use by AMASS, see
“Prepare Media for Network Devices” on page 1-11.
Step 1. Use the bulkload command if your library already
contains volumes that the library interface knows
about but AMASS does not.
Otherwise, use the bulkinlet command. Both
commands perform the following tasks:
• Loads multiple volumes

AMASS manages these libraries using DAS
(Distributed AML Server) on the OS/2 PC. For
information, see “Using DAS as a Library
Interface” on page 2-13.
