To create a message group
You can create your own message groups. When you send
a message to a group, the message is sent to all members
of the group. Each group you create has a number or a
name.
There are two types of groups: public and private. Other
subscribers can send messages to a public group. Only
you can send messages to a private group.
USING YOUR PHONE
1 Call the voice messaging system, and enter your personal ID and
security code if prompted.
2 Press to create a new group, and do one of the following
at the main menu:
• For numbered groups, enter a three-digit group number.
• For named groups, enter the first three letters of the group’s
name.
3 Record a name for the group, and then press when finished.
4 Press to make the group a public group or press to make it a
private group.
5 Follow the system instructions to add members to the group.
You can add members by name or extension number. If adding
members by extension number, press
to switch to number
mode.
Guests do not have extension numbers, so add them to the group
by spelling their names or by entering their personal IDs.
