A) Characteristics;
1) The outside of the filter element is covered
with a perforated metal surface.
2) At each end of the filter, there is a large thick
elastomeric seal.
3) The housing is a fabricated steel housing
with bolted end cover. The housing can
contain one or two elements.
4) Simplex filter housing is standard with
duplex filter housings with a bypass valve
arrangement is optional, so that the filter
can be changed while unit is in operation.
