LN-7 GMA WIRE FEEDER
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the cover from the control box
by removing the four 5/16 in. screws
from the top and side of the wire feeder.
2. Remove the first hex nut and washer
from the end of the resistor mounting
bolt. See Figure F.10.
3. If the wire feeder is equipped with a
meter kit, remove the meter cable strap
from the resistor mounting bolt.
4. Remove the second washer, hex nut,
and third washer from the resistor
mounting bolt.
5. Remove the two insulating spacers and
the power resistor from the mounting
bolt. It may be necessary to push the
mounting bolt back through the case of
the control box to allow clearance to
remove the resistor.
6. Unsolder the two wires from the
resistor. Remove the resistor from the
wire feeder.
