ENGINE PROBLEMS
The engine shuts off shortly after
starting.
1. The oil level or pressure may be
low, causing the engine protec-
tion system to shut off fuel flow
to the engine. Check the oil
pressure light.
2. Check for adequate fuel supply.
3. Circuit breaker CB9, located in
the engine compartment, may
be open. If CB9 is tripped, the
oil pressure and charging indi-
cator lights will not be on when
the engine switch is in the “ON”
position and the engine is not
running.
1. The fuel shutdown solenoid
may be faulty. Perform the Fuel
Shutdown Solenoid Resis-
tance Test.
2. The control board may be
faulty.
