The Default Job (WAFID00.JOB)
The Java applet, WAFID00.JAR, requires a compatible spreadsheet job file to be loaded
on the 1700 reader to function correctly. By default, this job file is WAFID00.JOB. To
connect to a 1700 from the browser interface, the reader's Startup settings must be
configured to automatically load the default job, or another job that has been previously
saved using the browser interface.
As noted in Section 4.1, advanced users may customize some cells in the spreadsheet of
a browser interface-compatible job. In general, cells may be safely added to the
spreadsheet. However, the predefined functions and formulas in the spreadsheet must
not be rearranged, deleted, or otherwise changed in such a way as to break compatibility
with the Java applet. And under no circumstance should the cells in Rows 21 through 49
(hidden by default) ever be modified.
