Host Table
This button opens the Host Table dialog to specify a local mapping of network host
names to IP addresses. Host Table dialog controls include:

Favor Host Table over DNS: When enabled, this checkbox specifies that the
search order for In-Sight host names will be the host table, followed by the
network browser, then DNS. When disabled, the Host Name search order is the
network browser, followed by the host table, and then DNS.

Host Name: The name of the networked In-Sight system to map (or assign) to
the specified IP Address. The Host Name entered will appear in any list of Host
Names throughout the In-Sight interface.

IP Address: The IP Address of the networked In-Sight system to map to the
specified Host Name.
6.4 Configuring Serial Port Settings
The Serial tab (Figure 6-3) configures the 1700 reader’s RS232 serial port
communications.

Baud Rate
300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 14400, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200 (default).
Data Bits
7 or 8 (default).
Stop Bits
1 (default) or 2.
Parity
None (default), Even, or Odd.
