4. Operation
Using the Main Menu

From the Main Menu, select Setup to display the Setup Menu:

The Setup Menu enables you to adjust system parameters, perform a factory reset or
obtain the Tech Support number. Following are descriptions of each menu function:
• System Menu
• Factory Reset Menu
• Tech Support Menu

From the Setup Menu, select System to display the System Menu.

Each menu is explained in detail below:
• VFD Brightness
• RS-232 Settings Menu
• DHCP
• IP Address
• Subnet

On the System Menu, the VFD Brightness function allows you to adjust the vacuum
fluorescent display (VFD) brightness.
To change VFD brightness:
1. On the System Menu, scroll to the VFD Brightness line and press
SEL.
2. Rotate the knob to select the desired brightness. Values range from 0 to 15.
3. Press
SEL to accept the new setting.
