Cisco ADE 2130 and 2140 Series Appliance Power
The Cisco ADE 2130 and 2140 Series appliance has the capability of using either an AC power supply
or a DC power supply.
Caution To ensure proper cooling if only one power supply is installed, the power supply must be in the
right-hand slot and the power supply blank filler panel must be in the left-hand slot. (See Figure 4-10 on
page 4-20.)
Caution If the DC power supply is used, ensure that the appliance is properly grounded.
Warning
This equipment must be grounded. Never defeat the ground conductor or operate the equipment in the
absence of a suitably installed ground conductor. Contact the appropriate electrical inspection
authority or an electrician if you are uncertain that suitable grounding is available.
