Tools and Supplies Needed
Tools and Supplies Needed
You need the following tools and equipment to install, replace, and remove the hardware options:
Number 1 and 2 Phillips screwdrivers
ESD or antistatic wrist strap and conductive foam pad or mat (recommended)
Beginning the Installation
To begin the installation, you must remove the front bezel and appliance top cover. Before removing the
cover, power down the appliance, and unplug all external cables and the AC power cable or DC power
wires.
Removing the Cover
Warning
Before performing any of the following procedures, ensure that power is removed from the DC circuit.

Before working on a chassis or working near power supplies, unplug the power cord on AC units.

To remove the cover:
